After a hot wash in the machine this tank top turned into a lovely thick felt. Perfect for a custom netbook cover for my Dad. There was just enough for a matching camera case too.

I love making things. It's that simple. About a year ago I decided to try not to buy new clothes. Instead I bought a sewing machine. I'm still working my way through my old wardrobe (and several other people's too) reconstructing garments. This blog shows some of my work. Whenever possible I've linked to the online tutorials and websites that have inspired me. In turn, I hope that this blog will be an inspiration to others to recycle, remake and recreate.
