I made this a while ago but was keeping it under wraps so that I could give it to my sister for Christmas. It is essentially a modified version of the trouser-to-pencil-skirt recon using the A-Plus A-line pattern from burdastyle as a template.

I love making things. It's that simple. About a year ago I decided to try not to buy new clothes. Instead I bought a sewing machine. I'm still working my way through my old wardrobe (and several other people's too) reconstructing garments. This blog shows some of my work. Whenever possible I've linked to the online tutorials and websites that have inspired me. In turn, I hope that this blog will be an inspiration to others to recycle, remake and recreate.
